About KMT Insurance Consulting

KMT Consulting Services LLC was formed in 2016 and is dedicated to assisting people with Medicare insurance decisions who are approaching age 65, retiring or thinking about retiring. We specialize in products that protect your health and cover you for illness and emergency now and in the future.

Having people in your corner who understand and work with the insurance plans, and Medicare and Social Security, on a daily basis, will help you make the best decisions.

Our services are free to you.  Agents/consultants are paid by the insurance company in the form of a commission fee.  Commission fees are included in all rates so you pay the same whether you use an agent/consultant or not.  Medicare is a highly government regulated industry and all carriers pay similar commission fees so agents are not incentivized by one company over the other.

Education is key to understanding the new Medicare world, especially when you continue to work at a company that offers medical insurance.  Our goal is to educate and help you understand your choices and guide your insurance decision.

Owner - Karla Michele Trimble

Karla Michele Trimble started KMT Consulting Services LLC in 2016.  She worked over 30 years in the insurance industry and this experience is of tremendous value when advising others with their insurance needs.  Michele previously was the Director of Account Services for Small Group (1 to 50 employees) at a large Seattle-based independent insurance broker. Her role as Director included consulting with small business employers and employees with their group and individual insurance plans, including Medicare plans.

KMT Consulting Services LLC was started to fill a well-needed service  to advise and educate individuals, HR professionals, business owners, plan administrators, and financial advisors about Medicare and Medicare Supplements.  What is missing is the knowledge and communication of what needs to be accomplished for both employers and those individuals approaching age 65 and those retiring or thinking about retiring.

Michele Trimble is a lifetime resident of Washington State.  She grew up in Issaquah and is a graduate of Issaquah High School, Bellevue Community College and University of Washington.  She currently lives in Bellevue with her husband and have two adult sons.  They recently welcomed their first grandchild.

Volunteering has been an important component in Karla Michele's life.  Past and current volunteer experience includes PTA, Cub Scouts, Youth Soccer Board, Seattle Humane, Meals On Wheels and the Bellevue Network on Aging Board. (BNOA).
